Bader KO’s King Mo In 15 Seconds At Bellator 199

Even though King Mo claimed he would knock Ryan Bader’s a** out, it would be the former pro wrestler who’d be knocked to the canvas on May 12th, at Bellator 199.

Bader would land the first shot of the fight which would send a crack through the SAP Center, and send Lawal to the ground, and the Bellator light heavyweight champion would swarm on top of Mo, forcing a stoppage in 15 seconds.

Bader would not only move on to the second round to face his friend Matt Mitrione, but also would tie for the seventh fastest knockout in Bellator history.

Bader’s knockout would be the third in a night of first round knockouts, as Cheick Kongo and Aaron Pico would also drop their opponents in the opening round on May 12th.

Kongo walked into the Bellator cage looking for his sixth win in a row, and didn’t have to wait long. Midway through the first round, Kongo would block a looping punch from Ayala and landed a booming right to Ayala’s ear, dropping the fighter and forcing the official to stop the fight.

Aaron Pico would  only need 1:10 to defeat Lee Morrison. Both men came out of the gate swinging, and Morrison opened himself up to a knockdown when he went for a leg kick and would be caught by punch to the face by Pico.

Morrison would find a way up and attempt to keep the war going, but Pico would land a body shot that would finish off Morrison as the referee would step in and stop the fight.
