Bellator returns to Italy on Saturday, and the Middleweight championship will be on the line as both the champion, Rafael Carvalho and Alessio Sakara made weight at the official weigh-ins Friday night in Florence, Italy, the promotion announced.
Carvalho is looking to defend the middleweight crowd a third consecutive time, while Sakara successfully made weight for his first 185-pound bout since leaving the UFC. Sakara won back-to-back fights as a light heavyweight under the Bellator banner.
All fighters made weight for the MMA portion of the event, which takes place at the Nelson Mandela Forum on December 9th.
