Bellator 196 Results: Henderson’s First Win Since 2016

It has been two years since Benson Henderson pulled off a victory inside the Bellator cage, when he defeated Patricio Pitbull at Bellator 160, and over three years since his last submission victory while a member of the UFC roster. At Bellator 196, “Smooth” found his way to get past both of those skids and take down Roger Huerta in the main event in Budapest.

In the co-main event of the card, Adam Borics  took down Teodor Nikolov with a flying knee in the second round that would keep Borics undefeated at 11-0.

Former Penn State Wrestler, Ed Ruth also remained undefeated by defeating veteran Ion Pascu in a featured bout on the card.
