Bellator NYC Fighters Make Weight
Bellator’s New York City debut is one of the biggest cards the promotion has ever put on, and it looks like it will remain in tact as all fighters on the main card made weight on Friday morning.
The main event is set between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva.
All participants on the Bellator 180 preliminary portion of the event made weight as well, headlined by a light-heavyweight title fight between Phil Davis and Ryan Bader. Several fighters on the web-only prelims missed weight however, and will receive fines from the New York Commission.
The ceremonial weigh-in show, featuring the final faceoffs between the competitors before they square off in the Madison Square Garden cage, will be streaming live at 6 PM EST.
