Bisping Teases Trilogy Bout with Rockhold
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping is looking for a fight to close out his career, and it seems right now he’s focused on his final fight being a rubber match.
As reported by Bloody Elbow, Bisping has been going back-and-forth in the media with fellow former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, and it seems Bisping wants to face Rockhold in said retirement fight.
Rockhold commented that if he lost to Bisping again, he would have no choice but to retire. Bisping, in response, took to Twitter and teased the fans, asking if he should retire Rockhold.
Should I do everyone a favor and force this guy into retirement? https://t.co/e9gTBQyGba

The two have had a rivalry going back to 2014, when Rockhold scored an early second-round submission victory over Bisping in the main event of a November Fight Night event. The two had a rematch in June 2016 at UFC 199, when Bisping — taking the fight on just weeks’ notice — scored a first-round knockout of Rockhold to win the UFC Middleweight Title. That second bout earned Bisping a Performance of the Night bonus and Upset of the Year honors.
