Chisora Wants Whyte In Rematch

Dereck Chisora claims that Dillian Whyte prevented Chisora from issuing an in-ring challenge to Whyte for a rematch later this year.

Chisora would drop Carlos Takam on the undercard of Whyte’s decision win over Joseph Parker in July of this year. Chisora attempted to confront Whyte to set up a rematch of his 2016 split decision loss, but security would stop him.

“We’re just waiting for Eddie (Hearn)to let us know what we’re going to do,” Chisora told Sky Sports.

“I want that rematch with Dillian. He didn’t want me in the ring. He told them: ‘Don’t let Dereck Chisora in the ring.'”

Whyte would be the first person to send Parker to the canvas in their showdown, but Parker would valiantly fight back and send Whyte near the canvas in the final round of their O2 Arena main event. When asked by Sky Sports for an assessment if Whyte’s performance, Chisora claimed it as “Terrible, Z.”
