As her fight against Nikki Adler draws closer and closer, two time Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields is stepping towards the spotlight.
In an interview exclusive to Fight Sports, Shields claimed to us that, “I like to make history! I feel like I’m obsessed with it! From my first Olympics, to my amateur accomplishments, and now my journey as a pro! I’ve always just wanted to win, and by winning history was made…”
The Michigan native’s work-ethic and passion can be compared to another memorable athlete that was synonymous with dedication, hard work, and intensity, Barry Sanders.
Yesterday, the two athletes met for the first time yesterday at the Lions practice facility as the team prepares for the NFL season and Shields prepares for Adler on Showtime.
