CM Punk: I Should Be On Fight Pass
In his old line of work, CM Punk was fighting to be in the main event, especially in his hometown. Now, Punk as a fighter in the UFC feels that he should be the first fight on the preliminary card of UFC 225.
Punk, who lost his first fight in September 2016 to Mickey Gall, will fight in his hometown of Chicago in June, as he faces fellow 0-1 fighter Mike Jackson.
Earlier this week it was announced that former champion Holly Holm’s return to face Megan Anderson will be the featured fight of the UFC 225 Prelims, while Punk and Jackson’s fight would be the opener for UFC 225.
On Twitter, UFC legend Mark Coleman disagreed with the idea, but found an unlikely ally in the former WWE champion.

I understand too. If it was up to me, I’d be first fight on fight pass. Don’t matter to me. Fans like to be outraged by stuff that doesn’t matter. (Appreciate the support Mr. Coleman!!!!! You’re truly the man)
