Crawford Sees No Issues Fighting PBC Boxers
While accepting his award from the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford, said that he sees no issue in squaring off against members of the Premier Boxing Champions roster.
Crawford, who was named the Fighter of the Year from the NBHOF, claimed that he doesn’t see the network differences between his promoter Top Rank and PBC which features Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and more, being an issue.
“I know my promoter is willing to work with any other promoter out there so I can’t use that as an excuse so I don’t know why they use that as an excuse or if that is an excuse. It is business at the end of the day. It’s gotta make sense and when it does makes sense that is when it will happen,” Crawford told BoxingScene.com.
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has admitted that he would want to set up a Crawford-Spence fight, but knows there needs to be a bit of a build to make it a Pay-Per-View success.
Crawford would be up for a Pay-Per-View fight against Spence, because it may allow
“both parties to get paid fairly.”
