The feud between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov has gone from the media, to a parking lot attack, and now to the frozen section, as a Dagestani supermarket has thrown the latest volley against McGregor.
In a video posted by Bloody Elbow’s Karim Zidan, a local supermarket Dagestan has begun selling frozen chickens, as “frozen McGregors.”
McGregor has been silent with the exception of two photos to Instagram earlier this week. One featuring McGregor walking out of a New York City hotel, the other featuring McGregor, his girlfriend Dee Devlin, and their son Conor Jr.
Nurmagomedov has made it clear that he would be more than happy to fight McGregor at anytime, and wants the UFC to give them a media tour similar to what McGregor had when he faced Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
“I hope he’s gonna fight. We have to fight,” Khabib said (transcript via MMA Fighting). “Make world tour everywhere, Tokyo, Moscow, Dublin, Los Angeles, Rio. Big world tour, promote this fight, said Nurmagomedov.
“..fight end of the year, biggest arena in the world, Madison Square Garden. Why not? Or maybe in Zaire or Philippines.”
“It’s going to be very big fight. It’s going to be very big fight, I think. Let’s go. I am ready for this. November, September in Moscow, November in New York. Any time. Let’s go. Let’s fight in Africa or somewhere. I am here.”
