Dan Hardy Calls Out Gordon Ramsay

Dan Hardy faced some of the best athletes in the UFC during his MMA career, but after getting diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in 2013, he has transitioned to a commentary and analyst position.

But that doesn’t mean Hardy is deterred from competition; in fact, he hopes to get into the cage a couple of more times before officially calling it a career. And when asked if there were any celebrity opponents he would like to face, one name came to mind — celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, the star of shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and MasterChef.

“I could make a list for you, to be honest,” Hardy said. “But, the one that I would pick straight away — and I always see him at boxing events as well, I know he’s a fan of combat sports — Gordon Ramsay. You know, he walks into every kitchen in the world like he can fight, and I would like to see if he actually can.

Because it’s unwarranted to have that kind of attitude with people if you can’t actually throw down. So, you know, try and speak to me like that in my own kitchen and you’ll get a slap across the face.
