Following Conor McGregor’s loss to Floyd Mayweather last weekend, many in the boxing and MMA communities gave the MMA fighter props for how well he managed to do against one of the world’s greatest boxers.
One fighter that was not impressed with the performance, though, is McGregor’s UFC rival Nate Diaz. The Stockton native took to Instagram to blast McGregor’s performance and the “Win or Learn” mantra that he and his team have often used:
“He punched himself out the same way he lost in the UFC,” Diaz wrote. “There was no learning goin on..#overpromotion bullsh*t get off the nuts this the sh*t I’m talking about. Bruce Lee would’ve never lost like that.”
Diaz is referring to his first fight with McGregor, the only loss the Irishman has suffered so far in his career. The two rematched a few months later and McGregor won a majority decision.
While McGregor’s next move is far from certain, the most likely option seems to be a third fight with Diaz to settle their feud.
