Dillon Danis Added To Bellator 198 Card
Bellator announced on Thursday that, Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Dillon Danis will be making the transition to MMA, and face off against Kyle Walker for Bellator 198 on April 28th.
Danis, who coached Conor McGregor for his 2016 rematch against Nate Diaz, has won numerous world titles in BJJ, including the IBJJ world title in 2014, which lead to his earning a black belt in the discipline. The New Jersey native who signed with Bellator in 2017, will be training at the SBG Ireland camp, which doubles as McGregor’s training camp.
Walker will also be making his debut inside the Bellator cage at Bellator 198, and looks to play spoiler to Danis’ debut on April 28th.
Danis-Walker joins a card that features a first round heavyweight grand-prix battle between Fedor Emelianenko and Frank Mir.
