Garcia Feels Eagles Have Momentum Leading To Super Bowl

At one time, Danny Garcia was considered the “last great sports hope” of the city of Philadelphia, this Sunday the Eagles look to not only get revenge against the same Brady-Belichick combination that defeated their team in 2005, but also win the team’s first championship in 58 years, in 1960.

Garcia is a die-hard Eagles fan, and is looking forward to his team defying the odds once again against the New England Patriots.

Even though training camp prevents him from traveling from Philadelphia to Minneapolis, Garcia will be watching intently. The star boxer feels that even though his team has been cast as the underdogs, the momentum of the first three rounds will carry over into Sunday.

I think we have a lot of good momentum going into this game. Foles is playing good, our defense played good, we have a lot of momentum going into this week.

Garcia, who faces Brandon Rios on February 17th feels that the only reason the Patriots made it to the big game are because of the magic of Tom Brady.

“[The Eagles] actually played better than the Patriots in the playoffs, claimed Garcia. “They just had that Tom Brady last minute magic.”
