GLORY Touches Down In Houston To Start 2019
On February 1st, GLORY Kickboxing makes their return to action, as they present GLORY 63 Houston and the GLORY 63 SuperFight Series from the Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.
Headlining GLORY’s first event in the state of Texas, is Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao, who defends his GLORY featherweight title against Ukrainian challenger Serhii Adamchuk.
Making his first defense since defeating Robin Van Roosmalen at GLORY 59, Petch has been on a five-fight tear seeing him defeat Van Roosmalen after taking the interim title with a win over Kevin Vannostrand at GLORY 55 earlier this year.
Adamchuk has also been on a streak, taking four straight fights following a loss to Van Roosmalen at GLORY 45, all by unanimous decision.
The two featherweight fighters had squared off two years ago, as Petch would walk away with the victory at GLORY 39 in Brussels, which lead Petch to his first title opportunity against Van Roosmalen two months later.
Joining the featherweights on the card are fellow featherweights Asa Ten Pow and Nate Richardson, a middleweight match-up between Jason Wilnis and Jacob Richardson, and two welterweight fights featuring Richard Abraham taking on Charles Rodriguez, and Omari Boyd taking on Troy Jones.
