Greg Hardy Injured In Arena Football Game

Ex- NFL defense player, and latest UFC contracted fighter Greg Hardy, suffered a knee injury in an arena football game over the weekend.

Hardy, who plays for the Richmond Roughriders of the American Arena League, would go down in the first quarter of Richmond’s 57-43 win over the Carolina Energy on Saturday night.

Per ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, Hardy is going to be examined by doctors, and the severity of the injury is unknown.

According to sources, Hardy isn’t sure if the knee injury will delay his next fight, which hasn’t been signed yet, following his first round knockout of Austen Lane on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

Hardy would be blackballed from the NFL following a 2014 conviction for assaulting a female partner and communicating threats against her. While Hardy would appeal the decision and reaching a civil settlement with the victim, the charges would be dropped and expunged from the record. Hardy would then be busted for cocaine possession a short time after.
