Jon Fitch Signs Exclusive Deal With Bellator

In another big signing, Bellator has signed former UFC competitor, Jon Fitch to an exclusive multi-fight contract.

Fitch, who prior to joining Bellator, fought for the World Series Of Fighting/ Professional Fighters League, and held their Welterweight title, is riding a four fight winning streak into the Bellator cage.

“The addition of an elite fighter like Jon Fitch to our roster helps reiterate that we have the best welterweight division in MMA,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “There are a number of high-profile matchups that we can make and I look forward to seeing what he can do inside the Bellator cage.”

Fitch, who spent eight years in the UFC prior to his stint with the PFL, faced off against some of the top competitors in MMA including a fight against Georges St-Pierre at UFC 87 in 2008. He joins a welterweight division featuring current champion and former UFC standout Rory MacDonald, Douglas Lima, Paul Daley, and more.

His debut fight has yet to be announced.
