Jones Odds-On Favorite Against Lesnar

Even though Brock Lesnar would still need to sit out six months due to the remainder of a USADA suspension, and Jon Jones is awaiting a judgement from the UFC’s drug testing partner, odds have opened for a rumored super fight between the two former champions.

Lesnar, who is currently under WWE contract until later this summer, has been in talks with UFC President Dana White, about a return to the Octagon. One option that’s been floated is facing the winner of the heavyweight title clash between Stipe Miocic and challenger/light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 226.

And while that may be a likely option is Lesnar has already returned to the USADA testing pool to serve the remainder of his suspension for a failed UFC 200 drug test, another option is a fight against Jones.

Jones, who failed a UFC 214 drug test, has had his license in California suspended, and may incur a four year suspension from USADA for said test.

Even with all of these variables, Bovada has posted odds of a potential fight between the two, and so-far Jones is a heavy favorite to beat Lesnar.

Jon Jones: -350 (2/7)
Brock Lesnar: +260 (13/5)

While Lesnar primarily fights at 265 pounds and Jones made his bones at 205 pounds, the Syracuse native is believed to have the skill advantage over the current WWE Universal champion.
