Klitschko: “Never Say Never” About Return

With rumors of major fights and major money growing, former unified world heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko won’t rule out a return to boxing.

Klitschko announced his retirement during negotiations for a rematch with Anthony Joshua for their April 2017 fight that saw Klitschko dropped in the 11th round at Wembley Stadium.

Over the past few months, rumors of a three fight deal with DAZN and Showtime for fights against Anthony Joshua and current WBC world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury

In an interview with SID, the 43-year-old did not rule out a return to the sport.

“You never say never,” Klitschko said during the interview.”My status has not changed so far. There are always rumours and I take them as a compliment.

“It’s nice if the fans really want to see that. I’m pleased the community and the sport miss me.”
