Korean Zombie “Embarrassed” Following UFC Denver Loss

After an all-out war against Yair Rodriguez at UFC’s 25th Anniversary event in Denver, Chan Sung Jung would apologize to his fans from his hospital bed.

“I have no excuse,” he wrote in Korean.

“To everyone who has helped me, I’m truly sorry… thank you… to everyone who hates me, congratulations. I am not in a good enough condition to get on a plane so I will spend a few days in the hospital before going back to Korea. I am embarrassed, but I will see you when I get home.”

“The Korean Zombie” was near a decision win with seven seconds remaining in the fifth round, but would be caught by a 6-12 elbow by Rodgriguez, that would send the former South Korean military member, in one of the most stunning knockouts in MMA history.
