Former welterweight world boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi left the camp of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor last week. Among Malignaggi’s complaints included how he was treated, the leaking of photos from a training session, and the living conditions of McGregor’s training partners.
According to Malignaggi, the training partners of McGregor deal with a poor housing situation, with the former boxing champion comparing the conditions to living in a “crack house.”
But one of McGregor’s teammates, UFC featherweight Artem Lobov, has recently disputed Malignaggi’s claims.
Lobov states that all of McGregor’s training partners live in a house that, while not a mansion, Lobov still described as quite nice. Lobov also claims that the training partners are all provided a car, delivered three meals a day from a restaurant, and are paid for helping McGregor prepare for his upcoming bout with Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather vs. McGregor takes place on Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
