Mayweather-McGregor PPV Price Set
As expected, the blockbuster fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will cost more than the average pay-per-view event.
The boxing spectacle will cost $99.95 to watch in high definition pay-per-view, per Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times. A standard definition feed will be available for $89.95.

When Floyd Mayweather fought Manny Pacquiao in May of 2015, after years of anticipation, the pay-per-view had this same price tag. That fight ended up selling 4.6 million pay-per-view buys, the all-time record by a significant margin.
There has been talk, however, that Mayweather-McGregor can exceed those numbers. Both fighters are massive stars and the promotion for the fight is about to ramp up with a series of press conferences in three countries over four days. It begins in Los Angeles on Tuesday, before heading to Toronto, Brooklyn and London.
The fight will take place on Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
