Mayweather-Pacquiao II Happening In 2018
Much like Michael Corleone, Floyd Mayweather can’t stay away from the family business, as the boxer will return from another retirement to fight rival Manny Pacquiao later this year.
Mayweather, who stopped Conor McGregor in August of 2017, looks to come back to the sport and earn his 51st consecutive win without a loss against Pacquiao who he beat in 2015 via unanimous decision.

Early Saturday morning, Mayweather would post a video to Instagram featuring both he and Pacquiao at a music festival in Tokyo, with the caption, “I’m coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another 9 figure pay day on the way.”
Mayweather made about $220 million from his May 2015 fight with Pacquiao, and significantly more in 2017 against McGregor.
In another angle of the interaction, Pacquiao tells Mayweather, “I have the belt,” as Mayweather responds, “I’m going to take it from you like I did before.”
“We gonna take the belt. We gonna get the payday. And I don’t want no shoulder excuses,” Mayweather said.
Per ESPN, the 50-0 former champion is eyeing December as his return.
