Mayweather To Apply For MMA License

Last week, FIGHT SPORTS reported that Floyd Mayweather will begin training with UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley for a potential debut inside the octagon.

Now, in a new interview with TMZ, Mayweather also confirmed that he would be applying for an MMA license, in more than likely the state of Nevada, where he lives.

As reported last week, TMZ interviewed Mayweather and he believes it will take between six to eight months for him to get “everything right.” That time frame that Dana White gave for a Conor McGregor return to the Octagon, which means there may be a Mayweather-McGregor II sometime this fall.
