McGregor Released On Bond For Phone Incident
Conor McGregor has been released on bail hours after being arrested for breaking the phone of a fan on South Beach.
The former UFC double champion was arrested around 5:30am et on Monday for breaking the phone of a fan who attempted to take photos of McGregor without his permission.
Per TMZ, the Irish star was booked for robbery/strong-arm and criminal mischief over $1,000. He is currently being held on $12,500 bail, which was paid late on Monday evening, allowing McGregor to leave the police station into an awaiting SUV.
In a statement to the gossip website, McGregor’s legal team provided the following.
“Last evening Conor McGregor was involved a minor altercation over a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.”
