Nate Diaz Blasts Buffer For “Bow” Comment
UFC ring announcer, Bruce Buffer decided to blast Nate Diaz this past weekend, for how he’s been handling issues with UFC management in the road to UFC 230.
Buffer told TMZ, that Diaz should be grateful to Dana White and UFC’s parent company co-CEOs Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell.
“Nate, I heard you made 7 or more million dollars in your last fight,” Buffer said. “I don’t want to hear you complaining about being under promoted by the UFC. You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him. [Endeavor co-CEOs] Ari Emanuel, Patrick Whitesell.”
“You got 7 or more million dollars gross before taxes, maybe much more. Which I love knowing that you have, Nate. Please, I don’t want to hear any more complaints.”
Diaz, who is not a fan of people telling him what to do, would tell Buffer to stop being a UFC lackey, in a less diplomatic fashion.
“I bow down to no one ever, for all the money in the world,” Diaz wrote in response to Buffer claiming Diaz should bow in respect to UFC management after his $7 million pay day to fight Conor McGregor af UFC 202.
“Bruce Buffer wtf get off the Ufc n**s your bowing down right now tellling me to bow down? f**k that u keep bowing down.
I Bow down to no one ever
for alll the money n the world…”
Diaz is set for his first fight in two years, when he faces Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on November 3rd at Madison Square Garden, but Diaz has hinted that he may not show up.
