Pacquiao All But Set For April Return

It seems that Manny Pacquiao may make his return to the ring on Pay Per View, as Top Rank is aiming to finalize a fight in the next few days.

Per the Los Angeles Times, Pacquiao will be a part of a potential double main event featuring Jeff Horn’s WBO welterweight title defense against Terence Crawford on April 14th at Madison Square Garden.

Top Rank chief, Bob Arum, seems to believe that the road to Pacquiao’s first fight since a July loss to Horn in Brisbane Australia, is all but set..

“We’re going over contracts with four guys that we handle, and everything’s coming along nicely,” Arum said.

And while no opponent is official, the odds are set on Mike Alvarado getting the nod for April 14th.

Arum  told the LA TImes that he will speak with Pacquiao’s manager Michael Koncz, to continue talks between the two and finalize a deal by the end of the week.
