Pacquiao-Broner Could Be On FOX OR PPV

While it is not official, the process has begun for an Adrien Broner and Manny Pacquiao showdown in early 2019 in Las Vegas.

According to a report from ESPN, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has a January 19th showdown between the two on their agenda for a meeting scheduled for October 24th.

The agenda claims a request from TGB Promotions (the main promoter for Premier Boxing Champions), for a “program permit” for an event on January 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, set to be televised on Fox Sports.

Yet, its possible Fox may look at doing the event as a Pay-Per-View, a first for the platform. Fox and PBC (who represent both Broner and Pacquiao) signed a long-term broadcast deal set to begin in December, that will see programming across both network and cable channels.
