Pacquiao Confirms Matthysse Fight Won’t Be Last

At the press conference for his first fight in over a year against Lucas Matthysse, Manny Pacquiao confirmed that it will not be his last time in the ring.

The 39 year old Pacquiao confirmed to reporters last week that his career “is not over yet.” but is looking at his legacy.

“I want them to remember me after my career not only as a champion, but as being an inspiration to everyone, being a good person,” he told BBC Sport.

“This is not my last fight. It’s one to prove that I am still there in boxing and that my career is not over yet.”

Pacquiao hopes that his new businesses, including his “PAC coin” venture, as well as his investment in ONE Championship will help define the next stage of his career.
