Pacquiao: Tell Floyd To Come Back And We’ll Fight

Just under three days after he defeated Adrien Broner, Manny Pacquiao’s on the mend following a scratched cornea.

Pacquiao marked his win and recovery from the injury suffered in Las Vegas on January 19th by attending Monday’s Lakers’ game against the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center.

For the second time in as many visits to Staples Center, Pacquiao would run into Floyd Mayweather who was sitting courtside for the nationally broadcast western conference showdown.

When asked if Mayweather will be his next opponent, Pacquiao told reporters that: “I will ask my promoters who’s next and we will announce that in proper time.”

“Tell him to come back to the ring and we will fight,” Pacquiao said.

“I only want to continue to fight the best. If Floyd [Mayweather] can no longer fight at my level, then of course he should stay retired.”
