Riner To Skip 2018-19 World Championships

One of the most decorated champions in all of Judo has decided to keep a light schedule, as 17

Per his coach Franck Chambily, Riner is keeping a light international schedule to prepare for his fourth Olympics, in an attempt to add to the gold he won in 2012 and 2016, and a bronze medal in 2008.

With his removal from the world championships, Riner ends a streak that included world titles in 2011,13,14,15, and 17.
