Rousey Discusses UFC Hall Of Fame Selection

Less than a week away from her first title opportunity in the WWE, former UFC and Strikeforce champion, Ronda Rousey was announced as the latest inductee in the UFC Hall Of Fame.

Rousey would take to her Instagram on Sunday night and thank the UFC for the “immense honor” of being the first woman inducted in the UFC Hall Of Fame.

“This is an immense honor, to not only take part in bringing women to the forefront of this sport, but now the Hall of Fame. May I be the first of many.”

Rousey walked away from the sport following two knockout losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes in 2016, and would fade away from the sport.

The former Strikeforce and UFC’s first women’s champion (bantamweight) would transition into acting and professional wrestling, signing with the WWE full time in January of this year.
