Taylor Responds to Drug Test Failure
Jon Jones is not alone in a fight against drug test failures.
Jesse Taylor, the winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption, was scheduled to compete in an upcoming UFC Fight Night event in Australia, competing against Belal Muhammad. However, Taylor has been removed from the card due to a potential anti-doping violation.
Taylor took time out to address the issue via social media.
The truth will come to Light! I am just as shocked and surprised by this tragedy. Our Team is looking into this matter. Let due process do it work before judging on the matter. Those that know me know this is wrong. We will Fight this and I will be back. I am sorry to Aussie friends and fans but that fight is off due to to this matter I am very bummed but we will get to bottom of this. I’ll Be BaCk☝️
Taylor made it to the finals of the seventh season of The Ultimate Fighter, but he was pulled from the final after security footage showed Taylor kicking out a limousine’s windows and frightening a hotel’s guests and staff. After years in independent MMA promotions, Taylor earned a spot on the 25th season of the show, entitled The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption.
Taylor defeated Dhiego Lima in the final bout of the season to win the tournament.
