Teixeira-Cutelaba Rebooked for UFC Miami

After their originally planned bout at UFC Brooklyn this past month was scrapped, Glover Teixeira and Ion Cutelaba’s fight has been rebooked for UFC Miami (aka UFC on ESPN 3) on April 27.

Teixeira and Cutelaba were scheduled to open the main card for UFC Brooklyn, the UFC’s debut on ESPN+, back on Jan. 19. Cutelaba, however, was forced out of the bout due to injury.

Teixeira went on to score a first-round submission over Karl Roberson at the Brooklyn card.

Teixeira has alternated wins and losses since a three-fight win streak was snapped by a loss to Anthony Johnson at UFC 202 in August 2016. Cutelaba will enter this bout coming off back-to-back wins and victories in three of his last five bouts. Cutelaba most recently defeated Gadzhimurad Antigulov back in July.
