Till Fined For Hotel Incident

Over the holiday weekend, UFC welterweight Darren Till decided to enact the kind of mayhem only seen in biopics written about rock bands.

Till, along with several friends, would be kicked out of one hotel for trashing it and letting off fire extinguishers, then after being denied entry into another hotel, decided to steal a taxi cab while the driver was putting their personal property into the vehicle.

Now in the light of this real-life game of the game Crazy TaxiTill and one of the associates involved in the madness were fined on Saturday in a “quick trial.”

“According to a source in Tenerife, a quick trial was held for Darren Till on Saturday where he and four others were ordered to pay €10,000 to the Costa Adeje hotel they stayed at,” veteran MMA reporter Aaron Bronsteter wrote on Twitter. “Darren and another individual were each fined €480 for hotel damages and €360 for theft of a cab.”

After two losses in as many fights, Till now eyes a return in a deeper and more dangerous welterweight division that has Kamaru Usman as its champion.
