UFC 219: Attendance, Gate, and Bonuses
Dec. 30’s UFC 219 event marked the eighth time that the MMA promotion has hosted an event in the T-Mobile Arena since the arena’s opening in July 2016.
Officials announced following the event that the total attendance of UFC 219 was 13,561, drawing a gate of $1,760,628.74. Exactly one year ago in the same arena, UFC 207 — headlined by Ronda Rousey and Amanda Nunes — drew 18,533 for a gate of about $4.75 million, a UFC record in Vegas.
The Fight of the Night for UFC 219 was the main event, which saw Cris Cyborg retain her UFC Women’s Featherweight Title with a unanimous decision win over Holly Holm.
Performance bonuses went to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tim Elliott. Nurmagomedov dominated Edson Barboza in the lopsided co-main event, earning judges’ scores of 30-25, 30-25 and 30-24. Meanwhile, Elliott scored a second-round submission win over Mark De La Rosa on the sole UFC Fight Pass preliminary bout. Elliott dedicated the bout to his late coach, Robert Follis, who took his own life earlier this month.
All four fighters take home an extra $50,000.
