UFC 220 Attendance, Gate & Bonuses

The first UFC pay-per-view event of 2018, UFC 220, took place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It was the first time the UFC returned to the Boston area in about two years, and the fifth time the UFC held a card at the arena altogether.

An attendance of 16,015 drew a gate of $2.45 million. This marks the highest attendance the UFC has ever had at the arena, but the gate falls just short of the $2.8 million brought in by UFC 118 in 2010, headlined by B.J. Penn vs. Frankie Edgar and boxer James Toney vs. Hall of Famer Randy Couture.

Fight of the Night honors went to the featherweight main card bout between Calvin Kattar and Shane Burgos. Kattar finished Burgos with a TKO 32 seconds into the third round.

Performance bonuses went to Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and Abdul Razak Alhassan. In the co-main event of the evening, Cormier stopped Volkan Oedzemir two minutes into the second round to retain his title. Meanwhile, on the prelims, Alhassan scored a first-round knockout win over Sabah Homasi.

All four fighters receive a $50,000 bonus.
