UFC Utica Does 517,000 Viewers

While Marlon Moraes 33 second win over Jimmie Rivera was highlight reel material, their main event did little to draw viewers to Fox Sports 1 on Friday night.

The event, taking place from Utica, New York, drew an average of 517,000 viewers. The event would end up being the second lowest viewed live UFC prime time card in company history, only beating December’s The Ultimate Fighter finale, where Nicco Montano beat Roxanne Modaferri in front of an average of 501,000 viewers.

Per Dave Meltzer, the record low average for Saturday is 609,000, for a May 2014 event headlined by Stipe Miocic and Fabio Maldonado, from Brazil.

The most viewed fight of the night was the opening main card fight, Sam Alvey’s split-decision victory over Gian Villante, which had 593,000 viewers.
