Update: Cyborg Wants Vegas Fight With Holm
In a tweet commenting on a interview Cyborg did during a press scrum, the UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion claimed that she wants Holly Holm to be her next opponent, and even though yesterday she said she would love to do it in Detroit, where she is attending tonight’s Nikki Adler and Claressa Shields fight, it seems that she has another place in mind.

Mixed Martial Arts was only legalized in New York State last year with UFC holding their first ever event in Madison Square Garden in November 2016, and looking to return this November with UFC 218 featuring the return of Georges St-Pierre and UFC Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping.
Some would believe the reason why Cyborg wouldn’t be as willing to fight in New York as opposed to Vegas is due to the rules put in place by the New York State Athletic Commission in 2016 when MMA was legally allowed to occur, and potentially NYSAC using her history with PED’s against the Featherweight Champion.
With Cyborg calling out Holm, as well as Amanda Nunes after Cat Zingano attempted to take down the former Strikeforce and Invicta Champion on social media, she is not wanting for opponents, its just a matter of who and when.
UPDATE: Cyborg continues to call out Holly Holm on Twitter in between trying to get a match with WWE’s Becky Lynch at Summerslam next week.
