Varga KOs Cangelosi, Keeps Title at Bellator Kickboxing 11

Gabriel Varga successfully made his first defense of the Bellator Kickboxing Featherweight Championship in the main event of Bellator Kickboxing 11, defeating Shan Cangelosi.

As the two took to the center of the ring to start, Varga backed up Cangelosi with a flurry of shots. Cangelosi had his own fair share of shots, but Varga expertly blocked shots and countered.

With about a minute left in the first round, Varga got on the inside and managed to knock Cangelosi down hard with a left hook. Cangelosi managed to slowly get up and tried to fight back, but Varga’s offense of strength and speed proved to be too much. And a left hook right behind the ear knocked Cangelosi down again, and referee Bryan Miner called a stop to the fight.
