With four days until they face off at Principality Stadium, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker spoke to the press in a massive press conference.
Joshua, who walks into Cardiff on March 31st the favorite said if he were to bet on the fight and had “20 quid in his pocket,” he’d bet on Parker being knocked out, but is prepared to go all twelve rounds.
“I have been boxing for ten years now and I have built mental strength to add to my physical capabilities and I have never been more confident.”
Even with all the speculation about what is happening next, Joshua contends he is looking at nothing else but the man sitting on the deis.
“For now my future stops on Saturday. That’s where I have to look to.”
Parker, who spoke with FIGHT SPORTS about carrying both his Samoan heritage and his homeland of New Zealand on his back, is looking forward to representing both countries as world champion.
“I’m determined to win, I’m not here for a pay day, I’m here to take the belts back. I’m here to do it for my family and my country. “
