Last week, UFC President Dana White announced that the MMA promotion was in negotiations with Floyd Mayweather, the unbeaten retired boxing icon who clashed with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor this past August in the Money Fight. Mayweather, however, denied the claims that he and the UFC were in talks.
The possibility of a Mayweather run in the UFC has not died down completely, and it was a topic discussed while White was a guest on the FOX Sports 1 program Undisputed.

“He had come out earlier and said — that’s why people were asking me about it, and I said don’t count anything out on him coming over to the UFC, that anything is possible. And I still don’t,” White said.
Listen, you guys know I was here, I did not believe that McGregor-Mayweather would happen and it did. So anything is possible.
Mayweather defeated McGregor in the Money Fight with a 10th round TKO, and many did not expect McGregor to last as long as he did. White, however, added his doubts that Mayweather would last a long time inside the UFC Octagon.
“It would be a quick fight,” White said.
