Wilder-Fury Set For Staples Center

After Las Vegas was intended to be the original destination, it seems that the heavyweight clash between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will be coming into Los Angeles.

Per a report from The Ring, several sources have confirmed a deal is in place for the Staples Center to be the site of the WBC world heavyweight title clash on December 1st.

The original site was intended to be the Mandalay Bay, but holds 11,000 less people than the Staples Center would be able to for boxing.

The confirmation for the venue is expected prior to the start of the media tour, set for London on October 1st.

Wilder-Fury will be the first heavyweight title fight since the 2003 Vitali Klitschko and Lennox Lewis, to take place in Los Angeles.
