26 Fighters Put On Medical Suspension After UFC 265

It’s already known how much time fighters will have to wait until they return to the octagon.
Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation released the medical suspensions for the fighters who competed in UFC 265.

Brazilian fighter Anderson Dos Santos will be sidelined the longest due to a leg injury that caused him to be wheeled out of the cage on a stretcher. Miles Johns defeated him via knockout, forcing Dos Santos to rest for 70 days.

UFC 265 was held on August 7 in Houston, Texas, the hometown of Derrick Lewis. The native was fighting for the interim heavyweight title in the main event against Ciryl Gane.

Fans were cheering for Lewis, but this support was not enough against Gane’s speed, footwork and power. Gane became the first French champion and guaranteed himself the mandatory fight for the current undisputed champion Francis Ngannou.

Lewis and Gane are included in the list.
