Reality TV star, and Bellator MMA competitor, Aaron Chalmers, could be Jake Paul’s first MMA opponent. But first, this Saturday night, ‘The Joker’ is scheduled to face Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout.
Despite announcing his retirement from MMA back in 2021, Chalmers has gone on the record saying that he is set and ready to discuss a possible fight with Jake Paul, following the news that Jake Paul has plans to compete in the PFL, in addition to being the head of fighter advocacy for the promotion.
Obviously, Paul will need to get past Tommy Fury in the fight they have scheduled for this weekend. Then, Paul has expressed interest in a 2-fight deal to take on Nate Diaz. First in boxing, then in MMA.
The social media superstar made headlines earlier this year when he announced that he had signed with the PFL and would be making his professional debut by the end of the year. He’ll also be in charge of the PFL’s’ super fight division, which could include a match between Kayla Harrison and Cris Cyborg.
The American has previously expressed interest in fighting in MMA, but he will back up his words with action at a later date. He’ll bring a large following from his career in content creation, in addition to his fighting skills.
