Adam Borics, Mads Burnell Head To St. Louis For Bellator 276 Main Event
Bellator is returning to St. Louis.
This time, Bellator 276 will feature a featherweight title eliminator between Adam Borics (17-1) and Mads Burnell (16-3) on March 12. It’ll be the first time since 2015 that a featherweight bout will headline the event.
Borics got to the quarterfinals of the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix in 2020, but lost to Darrion Caldwell by submission.
But he’s since recovered with three wins and has moved up to No. 2 in Bellator’s divisional rankings.
Burnell is coming off a seven-fight winning streak and is 3-0 since joining Bellator in 2020.
The winner will be next in line for the winner of the rematch between champion AJ McKee and former champ Patricio Pitbull.
In the co-main event, it will star Phil Davis and Julis Anglickas in a fight for divisional rankings.
