Aerial Footage Of UFC White House Construction

Aerial footage captured from the Washington Monument showed the clearest look at the construction underway across the White House grounds ahead of UFC Freedom 250 on Saturday.

Workers were seen on the Ellipse erecting new structures while a crane moved equipment across the East Wing construction site. The full fight venue came into view, flanked by two large screens and surrounded by thousands of temporary seats. Additional screens will be installed at the nearby Ellipse, with the UFC planning to hand out up to 85,000 free tickets. Also visible from the monument were ongoing renovations at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.The event marks the US’ 250th anniversary following the Declaration of Independence.
