Aidos Yerbossynuly Reportedly Out Of Coma

He lost by knockout to David Morrell earlier this month.

After being in a medically induced coma for nearly ten days, Aidos Yerbossynuly is awake and has been improving.

Boxing journalist Dan Rafael reported the news according to sources Thursday afternoon.

The former undefeated super middleweight contender had been in the hospital ever since losing to WBA regular champion David Morrell on November 5.

Yerbossynuly had made it to the final round, but was visibly winded from all of Morrell’s power punches.

Yerbossynuly was knocked to the mat in the beginning of the final round, but was able to get up. But Morrell sent him to the canvas a second time and the referee immediately called off the bout.

Yerbossynuly was wobbly on his legs this time around and was unable to walk to his corner.

After celebrating, Morrell noticed his opponent struggling and helped the referee take Yerbossynuly to his team.
