Alex Pereira ‘Honored’ By Anthony Joshua’s Suggestion On A Jump To Boxing

In a recent social media post, UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has responded to two-time former unified world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua’s recent suggestion.

With Pereira’s title defense last month over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 still fresh in the minds of many, Anthony Joshua made a post on X regarding the former Glory Kickboxer possibly making a move to boxing.

Now, “Poatan” has responded to Josha’s post, and seems to be open to a one off appearance inside the squared circle.

Despite seeming on board with making the move to boxing at some point in time, Pereira knows that he does not have enough fighting time left to make a run for a world title.

While his next opponent has not yet been announced, the thought is that the Brazilian two-time UFC champion could very well finding himself facing #2 ranked Magomed Ankalaev in his next opportunity to defend his title.
