Alex Saucedo Vs. Sonny Fredrickson Results
A fighter who is a +600 underdog will look to prove people wrong against a top contender looking to be more active. Top Rank returns to action Tuesday, June 30 from inside the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main event will feature Alex Saucedo V. Sonny Fredrickson.
A former WBO Super-Lightweight Champion, Saucedo (29-1) suffered the first loss of his career back in 2018. Facing former WBO Light-Welterweight Champion Maurice Hooker in November of that year, the 26-year-old lost via knockout. He rebounded with a win over Rod Salka back in November, a year later. Now seven months following his last bout, Saucedo is hoping to make the most of his latest run.
Fredrickson (21-2) last fought in November, losing to Samuel Teach via majority decision. The loss ended a three-fight win streak dating back to 2018. Starting his career in 2014, Frederickson did not lose a bout until the beginning of 2018, when he lost to Shohjahon Ergashev via TKO.
